The Property
- Original Deed dated July 18, 1843. Conveyed by Sheriff John K. Wilson to John L. Lane
- Deed was transferred several times until it ended up in the hands of Melvin and Jean Derickson in 1955
| The Working Farm
- 130 Tillable acres, running North and South, East side of the ridge
- 75 acres dedicated to pasture, running North and South, West side of the ridge Dairy Farm, milked 50-60 Holstein cows, raised replacement heifers
- Crops: Corn, Wheat and Hay. No cash crops raised. All crops went into dairy production
| Buy-Out Program
- Sold dairy cows and related equipment due to a Federal "Buy-Out" Program in 1987. Kept the farm and rented it to a local farmer, Darryl Beckett, who farmed it until golf course development began in October, 1986. This "buy-Out" allowed Jean and Dutch to retire and Time to pursue other interests.

- 1,650 Tons of sand used in Bunkers
- 22,000,000 (that's millions) of water used to irrigate this summer
- Approximately 4 Miles of Drain Tile placed underground
- Approximately 450,000 yards of dirt moved to build the course.
